At Cutting Edge Charters your safety and comfort are very important to us.All USCG safety gear is kept up to date and inspected daily.

Our staff are all CPR, AED and First Aide trained and under go random drug testing.

Your Captain is a USCG licensed Master, out of the 58,000+/- capts. in the US only about 10,000 hold this rating.

Starting at ice out we are jigging for walleyes on the bay targeting humps and structure where they are spawning, quick limits are the norm at this time of year untill late spring.

We then switch to wieght forwards and worm harnesses staying on the huge schools of hungry post spawn walleyes, while heading into summer we`ll use weapons to imitate the mayfly hatch and follow the fish to deeper waters as the temperatures rise.

By september we`re getting into jumbo perch mode and later heading east for both jumbo perch and walleyes, usually finishing the season early to mid november.

 Whether you`re an accomplished fishermen or not we offer the equipment and instruction to ensure everyone on the boat enjoys their day.

As a member of the West Sister Charter Boat Association we stay in contact and help one another to maximize your chance of a successful catch which is usually the norm.

Early spring jig fishing can be a bit cold and windy,but the best time of year for fast action and trophy fish, this young man is a diehard fishermen.
